We were recently invited to go on air with the crew of “Da Radio Show”(DRS) @ 1580 am KBLA. The station has it’s broadcast center in Pasadena. It was our first time being on ‘terrestrial radio’, and we enjoyed the experience. The show’s hosts and On Air personalities Dundee, Musical MD Status & Unanimouz, were all professional and made us feel very at ease.

The format was fun and allowed enough time for us to talk about all the exciting things going on with Urban Indie Radio- Los Angeles. There was also  a “play it or slay it” feature which was interesting because they played one of my current client’s song and it GOT SLAYED (oops).

Da Radio Show  focuses on commercial independent urban music provided by unsigned and indie artists. The show hits the air-waves on Monday nights at 10pm in Los Angeles. In addition, DRS has made themselves available online via UStream.tv that’s simulcast LIVE during the broadcast.
